Trump vs Harris - Thoughts and Opinions on the Upcoming Election Decision

 I tend not to get too much into politics and I think of myself as more of an Independent rather than claiming one party or another. I do like the debates because I think it is a good platform to get to know the candidates and their policies side by side. With the election coming up soon, I thought I would share my thoughts on the current state of the country and who should be the next President.

While there are a lot of different issues affecting the country and the people of the United States, my main concern is the overall economy and affordability of living for everyday people. Over the past 4 years inflation has gone through the roof. Basic necessities such as groceries and housing are way too expensive and wages from jobs have not followed along to keep up. 

This inflation has made it a struggle for many Americans just to afford the basics of living. I consider myself middle class and very frugal. Over the past 4 years my spending habits have had to change significantly to adapt to this inflation in the economy. For example, I used to be able to shop at most mid-range grocery stores. Now all of those are too expensive and I will only shop of the cheapest stores such as Aldi.

Housing prices have also jumped quite a bit over the past few years. I remember looking at townhomes that were around the 150k range, just a few years ago. Now they are around $230-250k. For those who owned before the increase, it might benefit them, but for anyone trying to buy now, they are out of luck. 

I believe that the inflation we have seen over the past 4 years is a result of the decisions that were made by the Democratic party. I think if Harris is elected and and the Democrats stay if office, we will see more of the same if not worse effects on the country. It is because of this that I think we should vote for Trump this November. 

I get that a lot of people do not like Trump's personality and the media sure tries hard to find ways to bring him down, but overall when he was president, the country was actually in pretty good shape. Things were affordable and overall morale was pretty good. I think if he is elected back into office, we have a better chance of getting this economy back on track so people can start being able to afford basic necessities again. 

Of course there are many other topics and policies that are to be considered, but overall I think this is the most important one that has a huge effect on most people in the country and that is why I think we should vote Republican this November.

New Show Recommendation - Building Outside the Lines

 I just finished watching the show "Building Outside the Lines" and it was so good I wanted to share it here as a recommendation. The show features a father/daughter duo who are asked to make a creative build for a client each episode. 

The dad Cappie has a great personality and a lot of enthusiasm. Alex the daughter compliments him very well and contributes a lot of ideas and creativity to the builds. 

The show takes place in South Dakota which makes for a beautiful setting. The show is shot and edited very nicely which makes it a pleasure to watch. 

Each show starts with a local client who has a basic idea of what they want, but they leave it up to Cappie, Alex, and their team to put their own spin on it and come up with a completed design. The building process is featured throughout the episode and at the end the finished project is presented to the client.

Overall it is a wonderful show and I highly recommend it. The first season had 8 episodes, but I really hope they decide to make more! You can watch it now on streaming networks such as Max Discovery Plus.
